In 1965, the original Riverside Temple Beth El Nursery School was born out of a vision of a few Temple families, who desired a non-denominational, non-sectarian nursery school in their neighborhood for children to attend.
“...to provide a developmentally-appropriate curriculum that builds a solid foundation for future learning.”
In its on-going pursuit to provide the best services, TBECDC undertook the extensive and prestigious accreditation process from National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
An NAEYC accredited school.
TBECDC maintains current licensure through the State of California Community Care Licensing (CCL) office, 3737 Main Street, Suite 700, Riverside, California, for infants beginning at 6 weeks, preschool children ages two through five, Transitional Kindergarten, with before and after elementary school care for K-6th graders.
School-year classes are grouped by development and chronological age, generally as follows:
“I am writing this review to express our sincere appreciation to the teachers in our son's classroom for an extraordinary job that they perform day-in and day-out. I have had the opportunity to stay over with my son after dropping him off and had the chance to observe the great work that they do. They are always engaged with the children, i.e., reading a book with them, performing activities where the children are involved, interacting with them, performing intentional teaching, etc.
He has been attending this school since he was an infant. We can't say enough about all the good things that these teachers perform where we sometimes take for granted. I want to let others also know the good work that they and the staff at Temple Beth El CDC perform.”
``All three of my boys attended TBECDC from 2012-2018. My youngest just graduated and I just wanted to say how much I appreciated having a great place to send my children for preschool. I will really miss the warm and friendly teachers we have gotten to know over the years. As a former elementary teacher, I feel that I was quite particular about what to look for in choosing a preschool. I loved the vibrant, welcoming environments of the classrooms, the detailed weekly lesson plans (emailed to the parents) and most of all the priority they put on the safety of the children. There is plenty of adult supervision at all times and I never had to worry about leaving my children there.``
“My daughter was at this preschool for a full school year and I can't say enough positive things about the school, teachers, staff, and curriculum. The entire experience was excellent. I feel fully confident my child is prepared to excel in Kindergarten next fall thanks to Temple Beth El CDC and thanks to her amazing! They were so kind and dedicated - I will be forever thankful!”
